With the cool of the Mediterranean only metres away from the warmest of welcomes, it’s a very tempting proposition to head into The Beach House.  Clients have become accustomed to the meticulous attention to detail and their ability to plan and construct the imaginative flavour combinations for which The Beach House has rightly become famous. With its ethos of transforming properly sourced, fresh, organic and – whenever possible – wild produce into uncomplicated, dynamic, tasty and wholesome meals, The Beach House has built its devoted clientele on a combination of fabulous location and reliably excellent food.   For the best party in town make sure that you don’t miss out on the themed events, which are held throughout the year. In the past, guests have danced the night away at Brazilian Samba and Great Gatsby Parties and the legendary Masquerade Duo also performs at The Beach House every Sunday, making this the ideal place to go if you enjoy a party atmosphere. Another important part of in-house philosophy is that the team is determined not to rest on its laurels and the menu is constantly being evaluated and upgraded. Favourites can always be found but, given the emphasis on local, organic and wild ingredients, some changes are made to take advantage of seasonal produce. Fans of flavour will just love the Chicken Liver Parfait with Red Onion Marmalade and Homemade Granary Toast. The flavours are perfectly balanced, the toast is wonderfully crunchy and contrasts with the texture of the chicken liver parfait. This is a complete re-imagining of the classic ‘paté on toast’ starter. We also love the Beach House Beefburger: served with Bacon, Cheese, Gherkin, Caramelised Red Onion and Chunky Chips, this is a very upmarket version of an old favourite. The new menu is fantastically varied: you could opt for the familiar with the Beer Battered Cod and Chips with Pea Purée and Tartare Sauce or enjoy your fish with a bit of a spin. We don’t like to say this but ordering steak can be a bit of a lottery. Some restaurants nail it every time while others sometimes use beef that can be politely described as ‘chewy’! Fans of a good steak will be pleased to learn that The Beach House is famous for the quality of its steaks and there is a choice of Aged Rib-Eye or Prime Fillet, which is accompanied by Chunky Chips, Asparagus and Béarnaise Sauce. Diners can also add Sauté Prawns and Mushrooms in Garlic Butter for a small charge. This fantastic über-chiringuito is open for breakfast every day from 8:30 to 12:30 and lunch from 12:30 to 18:00. It is also open for dinner from Monday to Saturday between the hours of 19:00 to 22:30.
