Family Italian in the Port

There’s nowhere like Pizzeria Picasso for Italian in Puerto Banús, not necessarily in terms of quality, but for a combination of quality and price, in a region where the price bracket is generally high, it comes out on top.

For three decades, Pizzeria Picasso has been serving freshly baked pizza, wonderful pasta, quality meat, fresh fish and special kid’s meals; all in a busy, friendly atmosphere.

The kids menu in particular is fantastic, which is why when we are in the port with our kids, we are almost always dragged there (with little effort I might add). Our kids love it and mum and dad can still afford to enjoy a drink elsewhere after or indulge in a touch of shopping, as Picasso’s doesn’t break the bank. Open seven days a week, they even offer a discount for early dining from 4.30-7pm in the week.

Pizzeria Picasso is one of the busiest restaurants in Puerto Banus, so allow yourself some time to wait in line for a table. Although the restaurant is busy, the helpful and attentive staff still manage to sustain the highest level of service.

I have visited Picasso’s many times and have never been disappointed, whether ordering pizza, pasta or ribs, everything is produced using exceptional produce.

If you are looking for a romantic dinner in the port, this is probably not the place to select, as there will most likely always be an abundance of children milling around. However if you have kids or enjoy a family environment, I am sure as soon as you sample their freshly baked calzone, you will already be planning your return, I know I did..!

All in all, an excellent Italian, perfectly suited for families.
