A taste of Andalucia at La Venencia

There are three restaurants in the Bodega La Venencia group in Marbella.  The eateries are always bustling with locals, a great indicator of the quality and substance of the restaurant. At each location, you can dine inside or out on the streets, truly involved in the hustle of traditional Spanish lifestyle.

La Venencia is the perfect place for sharing platters, with a large assortment of traditional Andalucian tapas. Some of the choices on the extensive menu include Spanish Omlette, Manchego Cheese, Seafood Salad, Potato Salad, Serrano Ham, Grilled Wild mushrooms in garlic butter and Chorizo, to name a few. This particular visit, I dined with my wife and kids, as the restaurant offers a wide range of tapas for the whole family, and it’s a great way for the kids to try something different. Many of the dishes have the option of choosing the size that fits you perfectly, ensuring that the entire party can try something new.

On our visit, we opted to select an assortment of tapas dishes to sample. Other diners in the restaurant seem to prefer selecting main course dishes, either way you will be pleased. Main course dishes on the menu include Fresh Sea Bass and T-Bone steaks, among others.

The standard of the restaurant is simply excellent, the service both efficient and personable. Families will benefit from eating in the early evening as the place is crowded from 9pm almost every day.
