Acclaimed as one of the most beautiful locations on the Costa del Sol, Tikitano is simply breathtaking. The unremitting views of the southern provinces are a marvel; a spectacle that will truly take your breath away. With a private beach and expansive gardens, this location is stunning. The building has been created with a timeless ethnic design featuring tropical woods and rich colours. The thatched roof gives a Polynesian ambience, which ideally suits the location and our delightful climate. Transporting you to a Hawaiian paradise, the décor is minimalistic but provides a homely feel.

With natural light in abundance, TikiTano has the ability to open itself to the sea when the sun is beaming, or to shield you from the cooler months behind tasteful glass curtains, it is perfect for private celebrations including weddings, corporate events, anniversaries, communions, gala dinners and birthdays, or just simply dinner with a friend. Their profusion of live act performances create the ideal atmosphere; The Rat Pack, Tres Divos and Pavarotti are just a few of the special acts showcased at TikiTano every month.

TikiTano’s sole aim is to excite and satisfy the most travelled epicurean and tantalize the taste buds of the most inquisitive diner. The restaurant offer an abundance of menus with an international touch, without losing any of the Mediterranean roots. These menus include a simple yet deluxe special lunch menu served from 1.30pm to a delectable a la carte menu available throughout lunch and dinner. Also, their ever-popular traditional Sunday lunches are always guaranteed to make you feel at home, but be sure to book early as it fills up fast.

To begin, we gorged on a ‘Surtido de Pinchos’; the selection of brochettes, all grilled to perfection, were perfect to share between my diners and I. The fillets of salmon, skewered prawns, succulent beef and juicy chicken were all drizzled with their complementary sauces; soy & chilli, garlic, rock salt and a peanut satay respectively. For our main platter, we sampled the succulent entrecôte ‘New York Strip’. Cooked to our request of medium, it harmonized exquisitely with the homemade, stacked chunky chips, florettes of broccoli and creamy hollandaise sauce. Finally, we were presented with an assiette of desserts, all accompanied by sauces homemade by the gifted kitchen. The trio of puddings was beautifully presented, a shame to destroy, but too moreish not to delve right in! Ours consisted of a tarte tatin of caramelised apples, a chocolate fondant made with Saint Dominique cocoa and a sticky toffee pudding, which effortlessly married with the accompanying caramel sauce. TikiTano Beach Restaurant and Lounge, where simple ideas and quality ingredients combine to create imaginative and delicious dishes; where the only limit is your imagination.
